Arduino based RFID Reader/Writer

An Arduino based 13.67 MHz RFID reader/writer. This has begun to be an interesting experiment. The fact that if also works with mobile phone base NFC applications has me thinking. The tag and the card each hold 1-KB (1,024 bytes) of data, (I think I said ten-thousand and twenty-four in the video).

RFID SNIFFER

A first look at this RFID reader/writer module which can be bought for a few dollars on eBay. It's cheap but also quite complicated.

The CISC RFID Xplorer Sniffer is a tool to analyze RFID reader and tag signals. The detection and decoding of reader commands and tag responses is done in .

RFID SNIFFER.

Just wanted to show everyone the tools the criminals use to steal your information and steal billions of dollars per year. My setup can capture cards from 18ft .

13.56 Mhz RFID Reader / Writer (MFRC522) programmed via arduino

First of all, sorry for the quality!

Here we have a RFID reader / writer, reading the ID number, Card type and data block '0' of 2 cards and 1 tag using a sketch I am currently writing. The reader / writer has both SPI and Serial Connect ability, In this video I'm using serial, as it's easier to program. I will post a better video, and detail description when i've finished this project.

Shoebox Auditorium - Arrange your own soundscape

Device I built together with Guido Huijser for the course Sound, Space & Interaction at Media Technology. The device uses an Arduino Duemilanove, Parallax 28440 RFID reader/writer, Parallax RFID tags, Korg Nano Kontrol and a Macbook running Max 6.

The idea is based on the old kijkdoos; which is a sort of shoebox diorama.

The user can arrange his/her own sound collage by placing RFID tag card's onto the glass plate, each card corresponds to a specific field recording. The user can adjust each...

Arduino + RFID + Unity Race Car Simulator Prototype

Here is a project I'm currently working on combining an Arduino with RFID reader/writer which reads vehicle tag numbers and loads their 3d models into Unity. It's similar to Skylanders, except with real world vehicles.

My next step is to make the cars swap out mid race. So if the player flips the first car over or crashes it, they can scan another car in and continue the race.

This could be fun if the cars have weapons a la Mario Kart and the more cars, trucks, tanks you collect, the more...
