LABLD

The LABLD tag is a reusable, re-programmable retail tag that uses radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to store individualized product information. Scanning the RFID tag with a smartphone or reader activates interactive product information, enhancing the customer experience. The LABLD tag can be removed, reprogrammed, and re-affixed to another product, making them faster and easier than traditional UPC inventory tracking and eliminating the need for wasteful paper retail tags....

P Krisna

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technique whereby a device known as an RFID reader can remotely sense the presence of, and access embedded memory on, a transponder known as a tag. Particular attention has been recently focused on new-generation RFID technology employing low-cost, passive tags operating in worldwide unlicensed UHF spectrum. With the recent effort in standardization of protocols both on the RF (air) and the network side, the industry is preparing for large-scale...

Handheld RFID Reader goes RTLS with GPS & Cellular

The CS101 handheld reader captures the GPS location where RFID tag reads, bar codes scans, keyboard, or touch-screen operations occur and then instantly communicates that information using the same technology as a mobile phone - all for around $2,800. In this episode of RDIF.net, we put it to the test. Host: Louis Sirico.

CS101 Handheld Reader is the longest read range, highest read rate and highest read yield UHF RFID handheld reader in the world. It enables lightning fast inventory of cases...

rBot RFID

rBot-RFID is a 14Hour Robotics workshop which is a new approach to a robotic navigation through a grid of RFID tags. Workshop will focus on building a navigation system using the RF signal from the RFID tags as a feedback signals to navigate a mobile robot within an unknown or uncertain indoor environment. This method is computationally simpler and more cost-effective than many of its counterparts in the state of the art. It is also modular and easy to implement since it is independent of the...

ID Integration V-Tag Active RFID Solution

Save time and money with this emerging technology using active RFID tags to transform the concept of work-in-process tracking and RFID location tracking into a more cost effective and tangible solution for many companies while eliminating the need for expensive infrastructure. V-TagTM is an RFID active tag asset tracking system that has the ability for the tags to "talk" to each other, rather than communicating through fixed RFID readers and antennas. No more expensive infrastructure setup is...
