RFID Display of Semi-Passive Tag Hack
The display model testing for a presentation at Purdue University's Springfest 2012. A semi-passive tag has a simple switch integrated into the antenna circuit to prevent eavesdropping (and having to carry a 'as seen on tv' steel wallet). Seen is a 125kHz circuit harvested from a standard passive card interfaced with a tactile swtich, rapid prototyped with my RepRap Prusa.
