How to disable VISA Paywave credit card RFID
As far as I know this only works on CIBC VISA cards. Disable the RFID "Paywave" feature as I feel it's less secure than Chip & PIN. Anybody with the card can make small purchases up to $50 without a signature or PIN code. Plus RFID cards are vulnerable to skimming from fraudsters. Of course, VISA assures us the card is protected from fraud but that's only if you notice the unwanted transactions on your monthly statement.
Disable the RFID function of the card and retain Chip & PIN.
