Inputting Data for a RFID File Folder Tracking Software System

This video explains how to input and associate RFID file folders with the database file management software system. The process consists of scanning the file folder's barcode to bring up the database information associated with the file. Once this is accomplished the file folder is placed in a RFID controller to read RFID file label tag. Once the RFID tag is matched with the software data and confirmed the file is set up to be tracked by the RFID scanner.

RFID Reader and Writer System (13.56Mhz)

My initial implementation of an RFID System which allows for reading and writing with various options to Mifare 1k Class RFID Tags at 13.56 Mhz.

I take no credit for the libraries written by Adafruit for the TFT and those hardworking

individuals who worked on the SD and RFID libraries. Most of my code was based off of their work (which is provided on the Arduino web page) so I did not see the need to post any code.

Hardware Used:

Arduino Uno

Rfid Inventory System - Campion Labs

Keeping track of livestock can be a daunting task. Especially if you have a big farm with lots of animals. Luckily there are technology which is great to use just for this purpose. Radio-frequency identification or RFID is a small tracking unit that is implanted in each animal. With a RFID reader and RFID inventory system you can then keep track of your livestock.

Unlike a barcode, the RFID device does not need to be in sight of the reader for it to pick it up. The two main type of power...

Dual-Purpose RFID Security Management System : DigInfo

DigInfo - http://movie.diginfo.tv

Hitachi has developed a dual-purpose RFID security management system. The system can be used as a personnel-tracking system or as a building or area access control system. The system utilizes active RFID tags equipped with infrared receivers. Each tag features a unique ID and via infrared transmission is capable of transmitting positional data. This makes it possible to both identify individuals as well as determine their location.

This hands-free access...
