This is a brief description of my Google 10^100 idea for a low cost RFID attachment to link existing battery powered smoke alarms that would allow for interaction between multiple units, providing advanced warning in the case of a household fire.

RFID Diving: Red Abalone Pearls (E0120007007B4706)
We have the ability to leave electronic messages on sporting equipment using modified cell phones and RFID tags. Memories from the past are retrieved using a Nokia 6131 NFC phone and replayed using an Apple iPhone. We have found rare pearls in red abalone from Northern California.

Real-Life HALO Multiplayer (or "The RFID Skull Project")
This is a description of a skull I made to allow players to play a game similar to OddBall (in HALO) in real-life. The skull's stuffed with electronics and players wear RFID tags. You shoot one other with Airsoft guns, and the skull keeps score! See the website imakeprojects.com for more info.

ExxonMobil Speedpass RFID tag implanted in hand
This is a DIY forum member at http://rfidtoys.net who implanted an ExxonMobil Speedpass RFID tag in his hand himself (you can see the huge scar). I would NOT recommend this to ANYONE because I consider the Speedpass tag to be unfit/unsafe for implantation, but it's still interesting to see it in action.

BlueBean's EasyInbound RFID Case Receiving Conveyor Line - white boxes have RFID tags, brown do not. Conveyor system singulates and processes boxes allowing the boxes for which it was able to read the RFID tag to continue down the line while boxes that were unable to be read were automatically pushed off to an exception line.

Xtreme Tagging Applications for fishing (E0070000021BF365)
We have the ability to leave electronic messages on fishing tackle and hats using modified cell phones and RFID tags. In this example we have attached a small Inside Contactless RFID tag to the lip of a Rapala lure. We wrote information on the tag using an IPAQ PDA and a Tradewinds SDIO reader.
