A photosensor is embedded in the RFID tag. A coded illumination via pocket projector locates the tag.
The computer generated labels are projected and overlay the object creating augmented reality (AR).

LabVIEW powered Flexstack module and iRobot Create for RFID

Boston Engineering decided to demonstrate their FlexStack product by attaching it to an iRobot Create programmable robot, have it scan RFID tags and then make it do several dances. FlexStack is powered by LabVIEW Embedded. Take a look at this original VI Shots video.

Golden Retriever Puppies: The Bone Tag Game

RFID Access Control, Prototype 1
A quick and dirty version of what can essentially be a door lock. I have an Arduino connected to an ID-20 RFID tag reader. Long story short, the reader reads the tag and sends it to the Arduino so that it can activate the servo or the appropriate color LED.
Green means pass, red means fail.

We have the ability to leave electronic messages on fishing tackle using modified cell phones and RFID tags. In this example we have attached an RFID tag to a small shell that is placed upstream of the swivel. We wrote information on the tag using an IPAQ PDA and a Tradewinds SDIO reader.

Real-Life HALO Multiplayer (or "The RFID Skull Project")

ExxonMobil Speedpass RFID tag implanted in hand
This is a DIY forum member at http://rfidtoys.net who implanted an ExxonMobil Speedpass RFID tag in his hand himself (you can see the huge scar). I would NOT recommend this to ANYONE because I consider the Speedpass tag to be unfit/unsafe for implantation, but it's still interesting to see it in action.
