Localization with Ambient Sensors (RFID, Bluetooth)
This video documents our research efforts in localizing a mobile service robot with ambient sensors. In this case, a particle filter was used which evaluated the detections of passive UHF RFID tags and the signal strength of Bluetooth nodes. The motion model relies on odometry. RFID tester with object detection using Arduino Uno (vid2)
These are film spools (white plastic) that have an RFID tag. The spinning table simulated the conveyor belt in the factory that will pass the spools past the sensor. The sensor will detect the object and test it for a functioning RFID tag. If the tag is successfully read, the blue light will turn on and the gate relay will be opened (simulated with the voltmeter continuance test). If the object is tested without sensing the RFID tag, the red light will light and the gate will remain shut.

RC-Thoughts RFID-Programmer v.2.0
Since I'm lazy I made small programmer to make RFID-tags for the RC-Thoughts RFID-System for Jeti.
v.2.0 Has corrected display-resolution and some safety-features like disabled menu if no tag present.
