he wireless key fob works great, no problem there at all. Problem is that it's a momentary switch right now... when I put the key fob in front of the pickup it cuts the bike on but when I remove it it cuts the bike off again.

I've though about this and I'm not even sure it should work.... Normally when you turn the key all of the lights come on and when you turn the key back off all of the lights cut off...
