Airport Baggage Tracker - Using RFID
Our Project aims at replacing the traditional Bar Code Scanner with RFID sensors and implementing
a Graphical Interface to make things easier for the customers. A research(by SITA) shows that the air transport industry
could save US$ 2.1 billion a year(as per 2016 stats) and dramatically reduce mishandled baggage with the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. Our project demonstrates the practical implementation of this theory. Our Project is divided into 3 subparts:
