Sobal's RFID is Reaching for the SkyeModule: Diginfo

Sobal Co. showed their new Skye Module M9CF which is useful for manufacturers who want to setup their own RFID system for keeping track of their products. RFID, radio frequency identification, uses radio waves to identify objects through the embedded tags and checks in the associated database or catalogue. These systems used to be more expensive than UPC codes and barcodes but with this system it is making it more viable. The system has three interfaces: USB, TTL and SPI and can be used with...

Security System RFID and Keypad 4x3

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is the use of a wireless non-contact system that uses radio-frequency electromagnetic fields to transfer data from a tag attached to an object, for the purposes of automatic identification and tracking. Some tags require no battery and are powered and read at short ranges via magnetic fields (electromagnetic induction). Others use a local power source and emit radio waves (electromagnetic radiation at radio frequencies). The tag contains electronically...
