FoilCapTag is a patented RFID--based solution that exploits the foil cap itself to achieve long range readability up to 11 metres - even counting bottles in cases.
It enables a unique electronic identity to be added covertly to bottles of wine, champagne or other drinks which have foil caps.
The system is totally compatible with a wide range of fixed and hand-held UHF Gen 2 RFID readers and can operate worldwide
Until now electronic RFID tags have not been widely used in the drinks industry...
