Evaluating a UHF RFID Tag Design with Simulation | COMSOL Blog

Fanny Littmarck April 20, 2015

COMSOL Multiphysics version 5.1 introduces a new tutorial model of a UHF RFID tag. RFID tags allow you to identify and monitor both inanimate objects and living creatures through the use of electromagnetic fields. The UHF RFID tag has a wider range than other types of RFID tags and is often used to identify animals. We can evaluate the performance of the tag through...

CHAPTER 9 CHIPLESS RFID TAG DESIGN - oreilly.com

CHAPTER 9CHIPLESS RFID TAG DESIGN

9.1 INTRODUCTION

In this chapter, the physical layer developments of the two chipless radiofrequency identification (RFID) tag types, experimental setup, and results are presented in microwave and millimeter-wave domains. The first tag type is a single input single output (SISO) tag having circular resonators that operates between 21 and 27 GHz. The second type is the novel multiple input multiple output (MIMO) tag having multiresonators that operates at the frequency band 2.4 GHz....

In reply to Eddie LaCost :

I am working on TRF7960 evm , i need to increase the range of antenna by connecting the external antenna to it , As I am a novice soi was going through various pdf that i can find about TRF7960 and was analyzing the evm in lab through spectrum analyzer , now i am able to Conclude many things and looks like i have found a way of doing my job which is like this:

1.) I will use extrernal antenna with evm , now for that as shown in image (from user manual ) For this i am able to conclude i need to remove Resistance R3 and and also R5 Resistor.( see if i am correct here regarding...
