bradhvr.com - My senior design project for Fall 2008. Uses a Skyetek M1 RFID reader to scan tags affixed to CD cases, and then stores/retrieves them to/from their assigned locations. A Parallax Propeller microcontroller was used to control the motors, vacuum pump, h-bridge, and optical encoder. It also communicated with the PC to ensure proper timing with the RFID reader.

Free RFID reader and emulator
This presentation will introduce and demonstrate OpenPCD and OpenPICC. The purpose of those projects is to develop free hardware designs and software for 13.56MHz RFID reader and transponder simulator. OpenPICC can be used to e.g. simulate ISO 14443 or ISO 15693 transponders, such as those being used in biometric passports and FIFA worldcup tickets.

Custom DIY RFID Smart Lock - Raspberry pi
The goal of this project was to design an inexpensive rfid door lock which could be opened via smart phone, and have all activity logged w/o utilizing any 3rd party servers or cloud hosting.
Quotes from 3rd party companies came in @ ~$3000/door.
The total hardware cost of this project is under $100/door.
I used a raspberry pi, magnetic door lock, rc522 rfid reader, and 5 volt relay to design this project.
