Convo On Stage - RFID Card Pairing

Convo Queue System - RFID Card Pairing

Convo On Stage is a graduation queue system to assist the universities and colleges to arrange the graduates to receive their honors on the Graduation Day.

This system is using Ultra High Frequency (UHF) RFID as the basis technology to recognise the identity of the graduates. After scanning each RFID cards, wristband or other equivalent UHF tags, the system will display and speak their names via the screen and PA system. And with no mistake!

SAIT RADLab: Livestock tracking project

RADLab researchers at SAIT’s Applied Research and Innovation Services department have developed a new system for reading and tracking livestock.

This high-tech solution has been successfully field-tested, and the Canadian Cattle Agency and Canadian Food Inspection Agency are evaluating the implementation of the system.

The RADLab worked with industry partners across the food chain to develop the system, which uses ultra-high frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) tags and...

Excellent 10meter plus read distance with Ironside Metal Tag + Eco-Fixed UHF Gen2 Reader

Email enquiries to info@ecosensa.com

We manage to test and proof that with our Eco-Fixed UHF Gen2 Reader and Ironside Ruggedized Metal ISO180006c Tag, we able to get 10m plus read range. Please observe that the angle of reading is from the side. We believe that if we read from direct perpendicular angle, we might be able to achieve 12meter... We can safely say that, when attached to metal, we can have 8 to 10meter read range between ironside and eco-fixed UHF Gen2 Reader (...

Back scattering effect of an RFID tag

Here, we have use a Vector Signal Generator instead of an RFID Reader to send a signal to transmitting antenna and we will see the back scattering effect of an UHF RFID Tag from a receiving antenna which is connected to CH2.

VSG has been set to UHF frequency range (866.6MHZ) and 15dBm power is given from it. Hence, a 6dB splitter will receive the signal and approximately 10.6dBm power was send to the both output port of splitter, one of which is connected to Oscilloscope and the other one is...

Reel to Reel RFID Encoder/Verifier

The INT1000 is an offline automatic encoding and verification station for RFID labels. The INT1000 is available in both HF and UHF frequencies.

The use of automatic issuance of serialized data with user defined formatting allows off-line encoding of RFID labels. All tags to be applied are loaded and verified. This allows separation of label application process from encoding process and therefore prevents slow downs in the production line due to RFID item level tagging.

To create rolls of...
