Introduction of 2.45GHz Gain Adjustable Active RFID WiFi Reader (217002)

GAO RFID's 2.45 GHz Gain Adjustable RFID Reader uses a built in omni-directional antenna allowing it to identify transponder tagged items up to 100 meters in all directions. Users can adjust the identification distance from less than 5 meters to 100 meters according to actual situations in order to make identification more accurate. The reader uses an advanced 0.18 µm CMOS IC for ultra-low power. This active reader uses WiFi (802.11b wireless communication standard) for data transmission to a...

RFID NANOTECH SPYCHIPS

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is the use of an object (typically referred to as an RFID tag) applied to or incorporated into a product, animal, or person for the purpose of identification and tracking using radio waves. Some tags can be read from several meters away and beyond the line of sight of the reader.

Most RFID tags contain at least two parts. One is an integrated circuit for storing and processing information, modulating and demodulating a radio-frequency (RF) signal, and...

Multimodal low-power communication & localization

This demo shows the combination of LPWAN and DASH7 for IoT communication and localization using the same hardware, together with passive RFID for activation and configuration. Using this multimodal approach and a seamless handover between outdoor LPWAN (LoRaWAN) and indoor DASH7 we can save on energy consumption and increase indoor localization accuracy, or enable higher sensor throughput or firmware updates while indoor.

Asset Management (Hussar™ Active RFID Tag)

Active tags can be used to trace valuable items, such as laptops and documents. When an employee takes away one of these tagged items, the installed reader would be able to read the tag attached and send the time, location and item code to a software system for record. The system still functions well when the items are taken to different floors of the building. You can trace the location of them conveniently and prevent loss.

RFID Hand-Held Inventory System

Bulk identification of products and short scanning time are two of the prime advantages of using RFID tags, instead of bar code labels, An RFID tag can either be active or passive. An RFID tagged product, may either be passed through a reader or scanner. The tag reading process, begins with the RFID antenna, sending a scanning signal which activates the transponder in a tag to respond. An RFID reader consists of a scanning antenna that are attached to computers, which can receive signals from...
