Arduino RFID reader

this is a demonstration of the Seeedstudio RFID reader with Arduino. I have set it up to recognize two tags and to play different melodies depending on weather or not the card is accepted. The Red LED shows that the door is LOCKED, and the Green LED means that the door is UNLOCKED. You can read about this project and get the source code at: http://electronicsjunk.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=58:arduino-rf-id-door-lock&catid=35:projects&Itemid=60

Arduino RFID Announcer System

Recognized tags are tied to names of owners. Audio files for each person are played when authorized users key in. The files .WAV files stored on the SD card and played through the adafruit wave shield. The RFID reader is from parallax.

The next iteration of this will have the addition of a cheap radio transmitter to send the correct RFID tag reads to another arduino which will handle the sound from inside the house. The unit with just the RFID reader and the radio transmitter will be placed...

13.56 Mhz RFID Reader / Writer (MFRC522) programmed via arduino

First of all, sorry for the quality!

Here we have a RFID reader / writer, reading the ID number, Card type and data block '0' of 2 cards and 1 tag using a sketch I am currently writing. The reader / writer has both SPI and Serial Connect ability, In this video I'm using serial, as it's easier to program. I will post a better video, and detail description when i've finished this project.

TR265 UHF RFID Reader Integration with an Arduino

Arduino microcontroller interfacing with a UHF RFID reader. The reader we are using is the Thinkify TR-265. The demonstration consists of three UHF tags each with a unique ID. Each unique ID is assigned a specific color. The reader and Microcontroller are communicating over TTL. When the green tag is presented to the reader the green LEDs will illuminate green. The same correlation will occur with the red and blue tag.

RFID Reader and Writer System (13.56Mhz)

My initial implementation of an RFID System which allows for reading and writing with various options to Mifare 1k Class RFID Tags at 13.56 Mhz.

I take no credit for the libraries written by Adafruit for the TFT and those hardworking

individuals who worked on the SD and RFID libraries. Most of my code was based off of their work (which is provided on the Arduino web page) so I did not see the need to post any code.

Hardware Used:

Arduino Uno

Medicine Man - Medicine Proverbs

Exhibited at the Newcastle (UK) Maker Faire 2009.

Administer a variety proverbial cures and see if the patient recovers. Includes: an apple a day keeps the doctor away, laughter is the best medicine and time is a great healer. The patient has a variety of reactions he can give, by changing the expression on his face and making sounds.

Each cure is contained within a jar, identified with an RFID tag, such that when it is shown the patient he can react. The system contains two Arduino...

Arduino RFID switching

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. The tags contain electronically stored information. Passive tags collect energy from a nearby RFID reader's interrogating radio waves. Active tags have a local power source such as a battery and may operate at hundreds of meters from the RFID reader.

Using that system we have experimented lighting rate device which has ability to measure light intensity. The uniqueness...
