Rfid reader + arduino + vbnet
This video is an updated version of my rfid scanner...arduino handles the tag value arrangement before sending it the pc usb port. I believe it can be expanded to use with zigbee for wireless capability.

Advanced Arduino RFID Authentication
This uses a Python serial server and SQLite to authenticate an RFID tag with an Arduino and a Parallax RFID reader. The computer will speak aloud "Access Granted" or "Access Denied" accordingly and spin a servo to a locked or unlocked position to attach to a door lock.

rBot RFID
rBot-RFID is a 14Hour Robotics workshop which is a new approach to a robotic navigation through a grid of RFID tags. Workshop will focus on building a navigation system using the RF signal from the RFID tags as a feedback signals to navigate a mobile robot within an unknown or uncertain indoor environment. This method is computationally simpler and more cost-effective than many of its counterparts in the state of the art. It is also modular and easy to implement since it is independent of the...

Arduino RFID Door Lock - Both sides accessible
Arduino RFID Door / Gate Lock - Both sides accessible
This access controlling system can read both RFID cards and tags. One master card is there to enter and exit the programming mode. Once we have entered the programming mode, any card can be added or removed. When the card is tapped it checks that the card is in the system or not. If it's a new card, it will be added to the system and if it's a remaining card, it will remove the card from the system. This is having two RFID readers in both...

RFID based Door Lock System using Arduino
I have used EM-18 RFID Reader Module and Arduino UNO board for this project. RFID Reader reads the unique rfid number from the RFID cards or RFID tag and sends it to microcontroller. The system/Door allows access based on the RFID tag received on the RFID reader.

RFID SNIFFER
A first look at this RFID reader/writer module which can be bought for a few dollars on eBay. It's cheap but also quite complicated.
The CISC RFID Xplorer Sniffer is a tool to analyze RFID reader and tag signals. The detection and decoding of reader commands and tag responses is done in .

Just wanted to show everyone the tools the criminals use to steal your information and steal billions of dollars per year. My setup can capture cards from 18ft .

Arduino based RFID Sensed Device Access.
RFID system is used to authorize the tag holder to enter a secure area. The RFID reader reads the data present on the RFID tag. This data is compared in an Arduino board to match the built in data for status display and authorizing the entry which is indicated with a lamp coupled with an LCD display.

RFID Deadbolt Hack
Now you don't have to fumble for the right key to unlock your door. The serial RFID reader kit comes with 4 passive tags including the keyfob type. There is also a pushbutton on the inside to toggle the lock.
This kit includes a servo, passive serial RFID reader, an Arduino Pro-Mini equivalent, wall power adapter, enclosure and ProtoDough (mold-able prototyping plastic) to make a custom adapter from the servo to the deadbolt pin.
Note: The lighted switch is no longer available so the kit comes...
