RFID experiment - Anti Hijack Prototype
Creating a prototype for anti hijack, intended for motorcycle rider. Recently in here, hijacking motorcycle crime has arised. Usually the hijacker operates at midnight till dusk on desolate or quiet streets.
This prototype uses RFID to check every 3 seconds if the RFID tag still in place, if not, it will warn 3 times on amber LED, then if it still doesn't find the tag, it will beeps repeatedly with blinking red LED then after 4-5 seconds if still doesn't find the tag, it will trigger the relay...

RDM6300 RFID reader controlled servo using Raspberrypi
This demo shows RDM6300 RFID reader reading a 125khz RFID tag and making the servo (continous rotation) spin the attached cylinder. I am using gpiozero to control the servo and pyserial to control the RFID reader.

Using an RFID tag to get into a hotel room.
Delighted to find that the hotel I'm staying in (in Copenhagen) is using RFID to open the hotel room doors. So much better than those swipe cards that are always getting demagnetised and don't work half the time.
