These passive tags do not have any power supply. They used to get their power from the incoming radio waves from the Readers.

RFID Library implemented in AmbientTalk: connection/disconnection

This movie shows a library demo application developed in AmbientTalk. The books in the library are tagged with RFID tags and are scanned using a low range RFID reader connected via USB. It shows how RFID-tagged books moving in and out of range of the reader are events on which the application reacts.
