RFID based Door Lock System using Arduino
I have used EM-18 RFID Reader Module and Arduino UNO board for this project. RFID Reader reads the unique rfid number from the RFID cards or RFID tag and sends it to microcontroller. The system/Door allows access based on the RFID tag received on the RFID reader.
Controller: ATmega328
RFID Reader: EM-18 Module
Software Environment: Embedded C, Arduino IDE, Serial Monitor/PuTTY
Special Features: RFID Interfacing, Serial Communication

Arduino based RFID Sensed Device Access.
RFID system is used to authorize the tag holder to enter a secure area. The RFID reader reads the data present on the RFID tag. This data is compared in an Arduino board to match the built in data for status display and authorizing the entry which is indicated with a lamp coupled with an LCD display.

Arduino RFID Announcer System
Recognized tags are tied to names of owners. Audio files for each person are played when authorized users key in. The files .WAV files stored on the SD card and played through the adafruit wave shield. The RFID reader is from parallax.
The next iteration of this will have the addition of a cheap radio transmitter to send the correct RFID tag reads to another arduino which will handle the sound from inside the house. The unit with just the RFID reader and the radio transmitter will be placed...

Arduino LED Lamp Controlled with RFID Tags
This is another project made by the Cooking Hacks Team. To develop this project we reused an old desk lamp.
It is a RGB LED Lamp controlled with RFID tags. Making use of several cards (or tags) you can choose the color of the lamp: red, blue, green, white or random.

Desk lamps are useful and everybody needs one but, to be honest, they can be a little boring. So we thought of somehow making it a bit...

Arduino RFID switching
Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. The tags contain electronically stored information. Passive tags collect energy from a nearby RFID reader's interrogating radio waves. Active tags have a local power source such as a battery and may operate at hundreds of meters from the RFID reader.
Using that system we have experimented lighting rate device which has ability to measure light intensity. The uniqueness...

Unlock your Mac/PC with Arduino RFID Card
In this tutorial I'll show you how to unlock your Computer or Macintosh with an Arduino and a RFID tag.
Arduino sketch, library and schematics can be downloaded here:
