ROBOTC: MultiRobot - Experiment One

Using ROBOTC, Arduino MEGA, Parallax RFID Sensor, 2 Xbee Radios, an NXT + NXT Xbee Adapter, I've created our first test of MultiRobot Communications.
The objective is to have the Arduino + RFID sensor scan a field for a RFID card, then transmit the distance from the starting line to the RFID Tag to the NXT. The NXT then converts the Arduino distance traveled into NXT encoder counts and then travels to the RFID target.

Challenge: RFID Hacking for Fun and Profit @MobiCom2018
This video shows how even hobbyists can transform commodity RFID tags into sensors by physically altering (‘hacking’) them using COTS sensors, a pair of scissors, etc. We develop RFID-based sensors for illuminance, temperature, keypad, etc. We believe our approach has the potential to open up the field of batteryless backscatter-based RFID sensing to the research community, making it an exciting area for future work.
