Raspberry Pi - Arduino RFID Door Latch
I have a Raspberry Pi 2 in the white case, which would be inside the building. This is where the decisions are made. The black case goes on the wall outside the door, and has an RFID module with an Arduino Pro Mini. The Arduino sends the RFID data to the Pi, which makes the decision and either does or doesn't unlock the door.
The cases that these devices are in are cases that I designed and 3D printed.

Advanced Arduino RFID Authentication
This uses a Python serial server and SQLite to authenticate an RFID tag with an Arduino and a Parallax RFID reader. The computer will speak aloud "Access Granted" or "Access Denied" accordingly and spin a servo to a locked or unlocked position to attach to a door lock.

RFID based Door Lock System using Arduino
